Humanistic Psychotherapy in Norwich

Humanistic psychotherapy is an integrative style that brings together established and well-researched types of therapy including Person Centred, Transactional Analysis, and Gestalt approaches.

These modalities focus on understanding a person as a whole, in the context of their life and personal history.

In helping you explore your circumstances, relationships, thoughts and feelings, my aim is to support you in gaining perspective and making meaning of your experience. As a Humanistic practitioner, my way of working is relational and collaborative with you, with respect for you as a person, your needs and safety.

I offer face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy for individuals over the age of 18, on both short-term and a long-term basis.

I currently only offer sessions online via Zoom, when it is not possible to meet in person (such as due to illness or necessary travel).

Working together

My Practice

My practice is based in quiet rooms in Norwich City Centre, in a therapeutic setting. The NR2 location is a short distance from Gentleman’s Walk, with parking available nearby on St Giles Street.

If after the first session we mutually decide to work together, I usually offer an initial short-term contract of 4-6 weeks, and review after that.

I currently have availability on Mondays and Tuesdays.

My fee is £65 per session.

A concessionary rate is available for counselling and psychotherapy trainees. Please enquire for more details.

Accessibility and Inclusion

My practice is LGBTQIA+ welcoming and gender affirming.

I ascribe to the social model of disability. Please let me know your accessibility requirements.

Please note that unfortunately, there is currently no wheelchair access or client parking available at my location.

I am covid conscious and my therapy room has a small HEPA filter and adequate ventilation. I have strict illness policy and request that clients do not attend sessions in-person if they are unwell or may be contagious.
